Social Media & Content Creator Intern

Our growing company is looking for a Social Media Intern to assist with our social media efforts. You will have the chance to contribute significantly to the success of our company through this position. This position has a 24-hour work week, divided into three 6-hour periods on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. These periods are for onsite meetings and content production and 6-hour remote meetings and research. Additionally, this position has the potential to become full-time. Students who have recently graduated or are NYSC Corpers are encouraged to apply

Duties and Responsibilities

• Increase followers on Instagram and TikTok
• Spearhead content creation and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok, and Blog)
• Conceptualize, plan, shoot, and edit final marketing videos (Short advertising videos for Social media platforms)
• Assist in developing and executing marketing strategy and branding through photography, videography, illustration and other graphic design mediums.
• Create graphics, posters & marketing collateral
• Provides copywriting for all marketing materials, online and offline.
• Maintain and grow brand partnerships/influencer collaborations.
• Perform other ad hoc work as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Persons with a Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Marketing, Advertising / Media or equivalent are welcome to apply as well.
• Marketing or communications students would be great. But we are willing to take a chance on students pursuing areas of study other than those directly related to this position as long as they show an aptitude for marketing and content strategy.
• Knowledge and experience in social media management is essential.
• Ability to create simple graphics (aesthetic IG/Reels/TikTok/Shorts) and an eye for design.
• Stays up to date with the latest digital and social trends.
• Enjoys brainstorming and developing ideas through to completion.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting with strong project and time-management skills
